Lusha Overview

Lusha is a dynamic platform specifically designed to cater to the needs of sales professionals in both small and large organizations. This powerful tool assists users in efficiently filtering and prospecting accurate contact information of key decision-makers. With Lusha, sales teams can streamline their lead-generation process and maximize their outreach potential.

Companies purchase credit based on their specific plans, and the ability to effectively manage and allocate credit is of utmost importance.

Defined The Problem

User Needs: Admins in a Sales Team

One key user need of admins is resource optimization. They seek ways to ensure that credits are allocated in a manner that maximizes resource utilization. By providing admins with intuitive tools to manage credit allocations, the solution allows them to make informed decisions and distribute credits based on the employees' needs and responsibilities. This optimization process ultimately leads to increased efficiency and productivity within the sales team.

Furthermore, admins require a fair and efficient distribution of credits. They aim to allocate credits based on each employee's responsibilities, performance, and specific project requirements. By providing clear visibility into credit limits and enabling admins to modify and set limits as needed, the solution ensures that credits are allocated equitably, preventing any potential bias or favoritism.

The Admin

During the course of the project, an admin approached me with a specific user request: to investigate why one of their employees was unable to utilize the allocated credits. Understanding the urgency and importance of resolving this issue, I promptly initiated the troubleshooting process to identify the root cause and provide a solution.

Through user research, including interviews and the creation of user journeys, I identified a significant problem related to the depletion of credits for users. Specifically, users experience difficulty understanding why their credits are being depleted despite having additional personal credits available. This lack of clarity often leads to confusion and frustration.

The Challenges
User Credit Management Enhancement

Solutions

I undertook the task of improving the user credit management feature. By analyzing the needs of the system and understanding the pain points, I implemented a solution that enhanced the user experience and highlighted status differences effectively.

To address the existing challenges, I introduced a significant change to the credit management interface by replacing the traditional credit list with a more intuitive solution. Instead of a linear list, I redesigned the interface to utilize a set of three option tags, which allowed for clearer differentiation and emphasized the varying credit statuses.

The use of tag-based popups revolutionized the credit visibility experience, enabling users to quickly gather essential information without leaving the current context. 

Administrators can easily access and modify user credits directly within the popup, eliminating the need to navigate to a separate page or disrupt the current context.

The Impacts

By enabling modifications within the popup, I successfully minimized disruptions, increased productivity, and improved the overall credit management process.



The implementation of the tree option tags enabled users, particularly administrators, to easily navigate and manage user credits efficiently. This enhanced usability not only reduced the time required to comprehend and act upon the information but also minimized the potential for errors or confusion in the process.

Throughout the design process, I focused on ensuring a user-friendly and intuitive editing experience. I conducted thorough usability testing and incorporated user feedback to refine the interface, resulting in a seamless and efficient editing solution that met the needs of administrators.
